March 20 & 21 Happy Birthday and Transferred to Bosque

March 20, 2018 – Response to my Happy Birthday Email.  We had been gone to California for Spring Break and got home really late so I just sent a quick Happy Birthday note figuring he wouldn’t get transferred because his companion went home.  I was surprised and a little sad that I didn’t write or send pictures but happy to see that he is in for some new adventures.

Hey we have changes on Tuesday now but I got changed to I'm heading back to Oaxaca in an area called Bosque in the Amapolas stake

March 21, 2018

Dear mom and everyone,

So, I’m getting changed again. On Wednesday President called me to tell me that he wants me to go to an area in the City to get my headaches checked, so I'm going to be a zone leader in the Amapolas stake. It’s the nicest part of the mission so I should have a lot of fun. So, this week was just going around getting everything ready for the changes and we had to really cool activities so I’ll talk about those.
On Wednesday, we went to a part member family that we have been working with. They have been working on getting married for a while so the husband can get baptized. We talked to them about their plans and that they need to follow through with them. We left them in a really good spot for the next elders. After the lesson the bought us tlayuda. On Thursday we went to some recent converts to pick up some embroidered ties that she had made for us I’ll take a picture of them later because I already packed. Then we went and got everything ready for the activity we had on Friday.
Friday, we had a talent show it was a lot of fun There was a lot of people there about we had 4 or 5 people bring nonmember friends. Loosle play sax and they did a lot of dancing it was a lot of fun. That was the first ward activity they had since the earthquake and it turned out really well.
Saturday was a really fun day for missionary work. For the RS anniversary all the sister went out to talk to everyone they could to invite them to a fireside they would have that night. We went out and helped the sisters showing them what to do it was a lot of fun and the new guys will have a lot of referrals from it. Then for lunch as a good bye to both of us a few members and recent converts took us to lunch at a really good seafood place called La Tequita. I got stuffed shrimp that were super good.
Sunday Loosle had to leave early to help with some secretary stuff so he left right after sacrament meeting. I’m staying with Elder Bills and we just cleaned up and packed up. Today we finished up everything and we are going to dinner with a member which should be fun. Oh, and I bought a really cool "painting" the Greg Olsen last supper I’ll send that soon too.
Oh, and a sister had us make calzones for lunch it was fun and tasty. I had made the salsa.

Well I love you all enjoy the photos!!"!
 Saying Goodbye to Elder Loosle

There is lots of "Missionary Lingo" and Customs as a Missionary.  So when its time for a missionary to go home, it's a known fact that the companion "kills" his companion.  Well, since Elder Loosle was going home, Elder Olsen got to "kill him" and have a "funeral". This is all in fun and tradition.
