March 16-21, 2018 Talent Show, Baptism, Goodbye Elder Loosle, Tlayuda Tshirts, and Goodbye Juchitan

The weekend before Elder Loosle left, the Ward had a talent show activity.  Even Elder Loosle participated by playing the saxophone.

So, it's tradition to burn a tie at your 6th month, a shirt at your year mark, pants at your 18th month and ??? at your going home.  Must be Elder Loosle having fun burning his cloths.

Saying Goodbye to Elder Loosle

Happy Birthday Elder Olsen.  For Christmas I sent him packages of biscuit and gravy mix.  It looks like he made himself a yummy breakfast for his birthday.
Wikipedia: Tlayudas - is a handmade dish in traditional Oaxacan cuisine, consisting of a large, thin, crunchy, partially fried or toasted tortilla covered with a spread of refried beans, asiento (pork lard), lettuce or cabbage, avocado, meat (usually shredded chicken or beef or pork), Oaxaca cheese and salsa.
Because Mitchell is a Zone Leader he needed to make sure everyone got transferred correctly and went to their new area before he got to his new area.  He is back in the city of Oaxaca.
