Dear Mom and everyone,
This was an interesting week, Like I said last week we had a p day Tuesday to go to Copalita, it was cool its ruins and nature preserve. There were a lot of cool sights and I got some cool pictures.
Wednesday, we had a lot of appointments fall through. We left a few investigators so we are looking for new ones and we haven't had a lot of success. Oh, and we had divisions with the assistant that was fun and in the night, we had both of the assistants in our house so Elder Johnson bought us and the sisters tacos so it was a cool end.
Thursday was the conference, it was cool We talked about if we can’t handle the law how could we handle the glory, it was interesting. In the afternoon president bought new beds for everyone.
Friday, we lost the whole day because we had to go to Rio Grande for a baptism interview we left at 8 am and got back to eat at 4 and started working at 5 then a 7 we had choir practice so that was a cool.
Saturday, we had most of our appt fall through but we had the district conference in the afternoon it was cool and the choir sung well. Then In the night they brought us the mattresses.
Sunday, we only have two investigators come to the conference so that was disappointing, we actually went to pick up an investigator and she said well now I don't want to go. and in the afternoon, we went with some less actives.
Today, we had a bunch to do. We started to wash and then we had to take some of the mattresses to Santa Maria an area about 30 mins away, then we had to pay the rent in a bank kind of far away, then they called us randomly and said our bunk beds would show up at our house in 20mins so we went and got those, then the Johnsons took us out to eat because it’s one of the sisters last Pdays in the mission. We got a bunch of food, He bought appetizers of empanadas and guacamole, and I got a shrimp pasta with a tomato cream sauce, it was super good, I miss eating out like that.
The package got here they are going to send it to me tomorrow, The Johnson’s had the shirts made they are really cool. The family’s date fell but there are a few people that we are planning to baptize in Coyul is the little prayer house the 16th. My comp goes some on my birthday, and I get home September 5th (probably)
Happy birthday Grandma and Happy baptism Erin!
I love you all
