Elder Mitchell Olsen: June 12, 2018 A Day Late But Sure- Elder Johnson

Dear Mom and everyone,

This morning was pretty hectic but it’s over now.

Monday last week we went to meet a really cool family, and the son didn't believe in God so we taught from the scriptures, having them read and pray to find that out.

Tuesday, we were super tired and ended up falling asleep on the floor for the first part of the day but we got up and went to talk with that one family I told you about to see how they are going with their marriage, and so far, so good.

Wednesday, we went and saw a house that’s a little out of our budget but we liked it so I’m going to talk to president to see what he says.

Thursday, we went to a member’s house that had just lost a baby to see how they were doing, we read some scriptures and helped them pull water out of a well and they seemed fine, getting over the loss.

Friday, a member gave us wings for dinner so that was fun, then we went to with that family and had a fun lesson.

Saturday, we went back to that little town called Tlalixtac and talked with the bishop we got a little more confidence so that was good. Oh, and we were running late and we wanted to celebrate the week with tlayudas, So the investigator asked for that in her prayer and we got there just in time for them. Then they told us the changes, my comp went to Juchitán and elder Johnson is coming here.

Sunday, he said good bye to everyone at church. and Monday to and we went to say good bye to his taco friend and we had tacos for lunch yesterday.

Today they are blockading the busses so we were running around trying to find out where the busses were at to go traveling but we found out about an hour before and everyone got on and left safely.
