Dear Mom and everyone,
So, this week went really well for us. Monday, we went to a family home evening with some members and their friends. I taught them how to make cookies and we taught the family the restoration.
Tuesday, we went with an inv that makes little all kinds of stuff to sell, Like bags and necklaces and stuff like that. She taught us how to make a little cover for our pens. My comp finished his but I didn't even start.
Wednesday, we had to go close an area's house so we went to the owner and made plans to take the stuff out the next day. Then we went knocking on doors with little success.
Thursday, we started the day emptying the house. It was fun and we did it on only two trips with a small ford ranger. That afternoon they gave us money to eat so we got sushi and went to a pueblo called Tlalixtac. We didn't know anyone there but we had one reference and a few former inv. So, we went tracting. It was fun but found the reference, another guy and a family so we came out happy.
Friday, we had a ton of appt. planned, But the district leader called telling us that he needed us to do an interview so we had to cancel some and make others shorter. But the last one before the interview was really cool. We taught the family from Monday and it was only the second time we taught the whole family. So, we taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ really quickly and they then accepted baptism. Then we went running to the interview.
Saturday, went a little bad but we made up for it Sunday. We ended up having 8 inv in sacrament meeting. and we found two more inv. One is the girlfriend of a member and the other is a former from the missionaries just before us.
Presidente didn't like the house so he told us to change. We have until the month to find one, but we haven't had much luck Oh and the owners aren't members they are JW. Cooking is fine. Just frustrating with the little electric stove.
Welp I love you all.
