July 31, 2018 Oscar's Daughter's Baptism

Dear mom and everyone,

Well, this week was pretty interesting. We had changes on Tuesday so we ended up being really busy with that. Elder Mumford’s new comp got here and we ended up having to go to pay for some missionaries that didn't have anyone, but the mission will pay us back. Then we had to let some missionaries stay in our house for a leadership council we were going to have on Wednesday.
On Wednesday we had council we talked about helping other missionaries find new investigators. After that, we went and ate and just started talking to a few random people and we ended up talking to Oscar's family about the baptism and we got everything set up.

Thursday, we started by making a program and then went with our mission leader to plan everything else. We went contacting then we went to pick up some missionaries that were going to be staying at our house to go to other zone conferences on Friday.

Friday, we had the conference, we just talked about what we talked about in the council Then we went and ate late and then we had the interviews with the girls.

Saturday, we were still looking for clothes but we had to go and train a new district leader so that was fun. We went and ate then got everything ready for the baptism. The clothes magically appeared. I still don’t know how, and we each baptized one girl also with a member. I baptized the little one named Adriana, Johnson baptized Joselyn and the member named Andres baptized Michelle. It was fun. On Sunday we talked with the whole family and they say that they are going to get married before I leave so I can baptize them so that is exciting.

Today we went to the Guelaguetza we got up at 4am to be in line for free seats at 5. We got in and it was a great time.

Welp, I’m exhausted and I love you all!!
